Sunset Harbor released in March of 2020, and there hasn't been any full expansion since then. ( < indicates platform I played for review)Ĭities Skylines base game rated E (for Everybody)Īfter releasing 2 full expansions every year since the launch of Cities: Skylines, expansions seemed to dry up after 2020. Airports level based on total passenger count. It's 60% made but I will finish it so be patientĪlso so, so sorry for my English. The last one is E where is the rest like Norwegian or LAN. D is for Delta Airlines, but there is also SAS and KLM planes. There are only airplanes like 777 or 787 and other big ones B is for smaller one but also international. When you finish shopping in duty-free shops you can check from which Concourse your plane will depart. I'm still working on it so there are no catering cars and things like that. That's my Bydgostia International Airport. Traveling on board plane is something i like so i know something about it I'm really excited to show you my airport. I found this community 2 months ago and i really like it. Greeting from Poland! I'm really glad to be here. Even 737's are too large for this city (both physically in relation to the terminal size and in terms of the passenger capability), but I've taken these screenies before changing the settings to only allow Embraers to come in and out.Īnyway, these aren't up to the par for this forum, but I had fun making my small airport. so here's my airport for a city that just barely qualifies for commercial airline service. Honestly, this sort of population wouldn't get any commercial service, but it's way too fun to have to create an airport and get airliners coming in and out. Anyway, w/o that mod running, it looks like my sim population will end up around 20-22k once some subdivisions fill out. I turned off some mods that impact population density in buildings because it seemed to give me squirrelly results for industrial demand (which is to say, almost no demand for a city of 150k population). This community's ability to use assets, color schemes, props/details, and real-world design is just outstanding, and I feel for every single step forward I manage to make on realism, you all have managed to take about three or four steps in that same time.Īnyway, I've been working on my first intentionally small city. Can I just say that the screen shots from this summer have been amazeballs. I've been traveling a lot for both work and a pair of vacations, so I haven't been playing or spending time on this forum since late May I think. Passengers on the left side of the plane can see a Delta flight that just touched down, and passengers on the right can see another Frontier flight that is about to crash into us, with a DHL cargo plane soon to plow into the wreckage of our two flights." I'm pleased to report an on-time departure for Rennes. The caption for the first picture would be "This is the captain speaking. Here are some screenshots of where I left things off before my unsuccessful effort. For now, I'm going to back burner that item and get back to detailing the airport and growing the rest of the city. However, even after building various paths that leveraged that understanding, I'd still get two planes coming from the same direction on the same flight path take two different final approaches using each of the two runways.Īnyway, if anyone else has fought a successful battle with the program to control flight paths and landing and take-off patterns, I'd love to hear from you. I think I did get a sense of how planes 'break' from their flight paths to head into an airport. In the end, I think I was fighting a losing battle against some random variations in behavior that is hard wired into the programming. I did install and use More Network Stuff to create dozens of different flight paths with altogether ideas on how to get the program to prefer a particular landing approach.
